Partnership Ads

Partnership ads, formerly branded content ads, are Meta ads that run with both a brand's and a creator's (or partner's) names and handles, using the creator's content and credibility.

With a partnership ad, the ad appears from the creator's account and the brand's account together, so it feels more like a recommendation than a brand message. Brands can use a creator's existing post or new content, and partnership ads support standard objectives, including sales and leads.

Partnership ads often outperform brand-only ads because they borrow the trust and authentic voice of the creator. They require the creator to authorize the partnership and must follow Meta's branded content policies, including disclosure of the paid relationship.

Example

A local fitness studio partners with a well-known community trainer, running her workout video as a partnership ad from both accounts to promote a free trial week.
